Andy Warhol. Life, Pop & Rock

'Andy Warhol. Life, Pop & Rock' is on display at Casa Alberobello from 18 May to 20 October 2024. 150 works by the father of Pop Art which include some of the most famous serigraphs, together with photos, videos, posters, magazines, ceramics and a series of vinyl covers, coming from private collections. The exhibition itinerary is accompanied by an audio guide in Italian and English available to visitors included in the entrance ticket. The exhibition is part of the cultural activities which aim to bring Alberobello closer to the candidacy project as Italian Capital of Culture 2027. It is organized by Bass Culture and Rjma Progetti cultural, and is sponsored by the Municipality of Alberobello in collaboration with the association Locus Festival which chose Alberobello to celebrate its twentieth edition with a series of cultural activities. The international exhibition cultural journey continues with Andy Warhol, after the success recorded with the Frida Kahlo exhibition, which recorded around 11 thousand visitors in less than 4 months. With a view to quality tourism/cultural policies that go beyond national borders that we propose to our fellow citizens and to the many visitors from all over the world, Warhol was chosen because he is a brilliant, iconic and multifaceted artist who revolutionized the world artistic panorama applying the most disparate techniques and the most emblematic genres of expressive language to his creations.
