Museum of the Territory - Alberobello

The ancient house of the doctor Giacomo Pezzolla houses the ** City Museum ** dedicated to the culture and territory of Alberobello. The museum, small but of considerable interest, collects in 15 communicating trulli, many material and immaterial testimonies concerning the origins of the ** trulli ** and the extraordinary peasant culture at its base. On the way along the sections of the museum it is possible to learn more about the historical path of the city, the main agricultural productive activities, the architectural techniques, and the everyday life of the inhabitants of the old ** Alberobello **. The museum also explores the history and evolution, not only of the city, but also of its territory and its most representative places, such as the "Fondazione Gigante" internment camp, Bosco Selva, the Coreggia hamlet, and much more.

ATTENTION: THE MUSEUM IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED
